CURRENT ACTIVITIES

Planning for next study: Reconsideration of consolidation/ annexation of Klamath Falls City boundaries to include urban growth boundary areas.

Update:

Our next meeting is Thursday, November 17 at 409 Pine at 6:45 pm.

RE: Study of City Consolidation/annexation

Thanks to Betty Dickson, who made documents from previous consideration of city/urban growth boundary consolidation/annexation available to us, and Karen Kunz who set up a  link at

https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/0B1frbIMAIZK_SjdfZURQN21sVEU

We will be discussing these at our next meeting, so please take some time to look at what Jeff Ball prepared for the City council in 2003 and other documents that show the opposition to this proposal.  This is an issue that has been discussed in this community for over 40 years now.

We will talk about whether the time is ripe to call community members together to look at this issue again.
